Who we are
We are acutely aware that finding help for your child or loved one can be a daunting task. Whether you are navigating what comes next after an initial autism diagnosis, searching for additional support, or are curiously researching ABA and have questions, we are here for you! Acute Behavior Academy LLC was established in 2026. Our founder, Ashley Buttars, was first introduced into the world of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2013 and has never looked back! Ashley has grown alongside her clients in the field of ABA and has held several different roles. She started as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), progressed to a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) in February 2015, and finally became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in May 2018. Ashley created Acute Behavior Academy in order to grant her clients the best services she can offer and to provide a cohesive and nurturing work environment for all team members. When our team is happy, our clients tend to be happier too!
What is Acute Behavior Academy? We aren’t your typical “academy” and don’t worry, you won’t have to travel far to see us. Our academy comes to you! Acute Behavior Academy LLC aims to provide quality in-home ABA therapy to individuals with autism in the Northern Utah area. Services are rendered in the client’s home, so providing transportation to a clinic or office is not needed. Treatment plans are individualized and based on each client’s specific needs with challenging behavior(s) and skill deficits in several areas including but not limited to; cooperation and reinforcement, expressive language, receptive language, functional communication, pre-academic skills, social and play skills, daily living and self-help skills, and self-regulation skills.
